In “Book the Win,” Robert mentions how after winning a lot early he probably shouldn’t be so eager to leave the game. Why he should probably keep playing? It seems to be that his opponents were willing to pay off his big hands, an essential ingredient for making a big payday. And maybe that by winning he had a fearsome table image, and could bully, intimidate, and bluff his opponents more. I never believe that luck was obviously on his side.
For any poker players who wins in any poker games or tournaments, I do not believe it is luck that works. Instead, I think the works and devices pay important roles and the luck comes only with them. The marked cards, scanning systems, IR or UV lenses maybe the luck!
